Wouldn't want to fly one out of LAX, but small, local airports? To fly to DFW, I catch an AE (Embraer jet), arriving 20 minutes before departure. TSA is a breeze and I gate-check my carry-on. Flight time is around 50 minutes.
If I drove, it would be about 250 miles.
