These things suck. I have to tilt my head down to clearly see people and things a few feet away or further, and I have to tilt my head way back to read anything. Everything in the middle? Blurry as hell.

Have you tried moving your eyeballs instead of your head?
They do take a bit of getting used to, but I couldn't live without mine. For the computer I have a separate set with occupational lenses

Have you worn glasses your whole life? I've heard that people who have struggle more with progressives. I started wearing glasses in my 30's, and didn't have any issues.

I hated them at first.
Now, no problem.

I will give it a try, but am glad Karla was driving tonight. Every car coming straight on had three sets of headlights.

Don't care for progressives. I wear a standard D-seg bifocal.

@ Lufin's Dad
You're a conservative for cripes sake! How did you ever think progressive lenses would work for your eyes? -

Thinking of trying some reactionary lenses. Maybe some Jacobite readers.

Maybe get them rose-tinted so that when you look back at the past it will seem a lot nicer.

I get mine with a transitional darkening to gray.

hadn't had a pair of the transitionals since the late 70's. The problem with them was they eventually darkened to where they never were quite clear again. I just bought a pair again a couple years ago and am quite happy with them.

I hate that they do not transition in the car. A separate pair of prescription sunglasses are required.

Don't you mean Jacobin lenses?
Jacobite implies support for the Stuart claim to the throne.

Yes I chose the word carefully as an example of reactionary.
