Sounds like a threat to me.

That's because it is a threat.

Always enjoyed the threat innuendo from Midnight Run, "the next time I see the two of you...alive... "

I think the GOP is overestimating how much the country will care about the failings of the black sheep son in the Biden family who has had no role in the administration.

As far as your statement goes, I agree. However, it might just be about much more than Hunter's indiscretions.
Might.

Welcome to the party, CBS. Better late than never.
Even the NYT acknowledged this about 8 months ago.
Anyone think this is the beginning of a whispering campaign to discredit Biden for 2024?
Two years too late. A crack news organization...
Now, let's tie the influence peddling to The Big Guy.

Frum has become an absolute idiot and I wouldn't put a lot of credence in his prognostications.

What will happen to the laptop story if Biden does not seek election?

Giuliani will show up with a host of new laptops from various democrats on the national scene.

The president was/is in the pocket of a foreign government, for cash.
This fact has been well established.
Now, when that fact becomes useful to the right person, it will be put in play.

I don’t believe that to be the case at all. You simply don’t agree with his brand of non-populist conservatism.

Former DNI Director Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe said, [relevant remarks begin around 1:55] “The New York Post broke that story, but I was the one that verified it. I was the one that said, no, despite what a lot of former intelligence officials are saying and Democratic officials like Adam Schiff are saying, it’s not Russian disinformation. And, unfortunately, what we’ve seen and some of what’s now been talked about in the Twitter files is that there was a suppression, essentially a disinformation campaign on behalf of Joe Biden that involved many people, and as a result, some of that information was suppressed from the American voters, even though, as you correctly point out, Jason, that, as the voice of the intelligence people — or as the voice of the intelligence community, I said that this was not Russian disinformation and yet, there was a suppression of that truth and amplification of a lie that it was Russian disinformation.”

When did he confirm it?

Good question. Do you think he confirmed it before or after the election?
Related question: The FBI was in possession of it for almost a year before the election. Why do you think the communications between the FBI and Twitter started to explode in June because of (wink, wink) Russian disinformation? Because the FBI thought it was false?

I wish they’d just file charges already. Assuming the reporting that the FBI believes they can prove tax evasion and lying on a gun permit application is true.
