Don’t know. But it is a moral imperative to bring them here.

      Amen.

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I wish someone would articulate what the U.S.'s role should be in security and peace beyond our borders. What obligations do we have to our allies?

Any position on these topics would be controversial and inherently a compromise. I just don't know where we stand anymore.

For all of Bush's disastrous decisions, at least he had a doctrine.

It reminds me of the Vietnamese guy who stole a small airplane and landed it on an aircraft carrier.

My wife worked with a Vietnamese guy who stole an airplane and was chased down the runway dodging gun fire as he barely escaped.

He invited us to dinner one night. I tried to get out of it, I'm glad my wife made me go. I sat next to a former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. These guys had some pretty good Vietnam stories.

I hope we do better getting these Afghans out.

In so doing, the Taliban -- who have no air force -- are looking to level the playing field as they press major ground offensives.

Good thinking, when you don't have money you have to use your intelligence

Just put them and their families on a fucking airplane. This is one of those situations where he should be leading, not waiting for factions to come to 'consensus'.

                  Completely agree.

Any way you look at it, Biden is an utter disaster.

                      Agreeing with @Aqua-Letifer here...

How many of them are there, including the families? I'll bet you can fit them all on one (or perhaps two) 747s.

And then, get them situated with jobs, housing, etc.

It's the least we can do.

                        The very least.
