Grab your popcorn and tee it up! A decent summer sci-fi action adventure....Recommended.

Nice production, some ok performance, the story gets kind of silly

What should be obvious to everyone in the whole world is only obvious to our hero

It is an ok way to spend a little time

Mighty prickly lately, they are. I wonder what they are sensitive about?

                    Perhaps.

I don't hold movies to the standard of Great Art. I want to be entertained and I don't want to overthink every sentence of dialogue or every nuance of plot.

I found the movie entertaining on the summer theater/pocorn munching level. If you don't find it to be your cup of tea, then you have many more options.

The sad thing is that most Chinese people have most likely only heard about one collapsed apartment building in the last few years. The one in America, not the countless disasters in PRC.

                                What. A. Load. Of. Bollocks.

Rambo meets Alien, but without the sophisticated story-line.

The premise is that they need bodies to go to the frontline. Statistically, you’d figure four to five times more Chinese would get sent than Americans as the current population count is 1.444 billion Chinese nationals vs. 333 million US nationals.

You‘re saying the Chinese nationals live longer than the US nationals? Life expectancy statistics generally do not support that.
