"It is very interesting to note that burning wood, which is the oldest form of energy consumption in the country, is still producing more useful energy than solar power, despite the billions of dollars that have been spent propping up the industry."
And don't get me started on how much it costs to charge a Tesla.
We need more nukleeer.

Nuclear has always been the answer. The problem is, a lot of people don't understand the question.

There are some, including one former member of TNCR who was a submariner, who will disagree, basing his disagreement on the treatment and care of nuclear waste.

Yeah, I know. My dad worked in the nuclear industry his whole life, so I'm undoubtedly biased. I also work in industrial safety, and I know what a shit-show coal mining is by comparison.

I probably shouldn't go into details, but in the West, the levels of control governing nuclear power are significantly higher than covering other areas. 'Significantly', is probably orders of magnitude - the joke is that the paperwork covering a nuclear power station generally weighs more than the power station itself.
As far as shit-shows go, Google Murray Energy and the Crandall Canyon Mine. Robert Murray was an interesting person, who some feel should have gone to jail. What happened simply could not have occurred in the nuclear industry.
God alone knows what happens outside the US and EU.

Many have long said that the car with the lightest carbon footprint on the planet, would probably be powered by biodiesel. It would be built with an eye for durability and ease of replacing parts.
If a family could buy a car (or light truck), keep it 30 years or more and drive it for over 1,000,000 miles...Wouldn't that be the most earth-friendly vehicle imaginable?
