Would be more useful to combine with the decline in family.
Government is the new religion and family. We can just look at every other country to see how that worked out. (Excluding micro countries with Pop of less than NYC SMSA.)

You could also look at countries where religion is really, really important and note what a disaster they tend to be.

The ones where tolerance of other religions is not a thing, right? I didn’t even open your link yet but I am guessing.

Not all, no. Of course, it's possible that tolerance is actually a far more important quality than religious belief. And generally, countries are less tolerant than they like to think. This applies now, with the cancel culture, as well as back in the halcyon days of Senator McCarthy and segregation, back when everybody was sooooooo religious.

Good point. For hiring these days being a white male puts you in a rather competitive disadvantage, you need to be substantially better than your competition.

You should see my team. Barring one middle-aged Indian male, it would be hard to find a less diverse group of individuals. Watching my boss telling them about the importance of diversity was hilarious, particularly as the Indian guy was off that day.
I'm probably going to get the chop soon.

You know, for much of our existence, America has been a pretty religious country. As prosperity goes, we haven't done too bad...

Nobody's arguing about how rich you are. I'm not sure that had much to do with religion.
