Was supposed to meet an arborist yesterday about taking down a tree at my daughter's house. He called me, saying he was very sick and couldn't make it. And he sounded horrible.

Talking with him just a bit, I found out that three of his crew, his wife and his in-laws all had the same stuff. I suggested he go get tested for COVID. He told me he'd had COVID last winter and so had his wife. Both of his in-laws had been vaccinated. Besides, whatever he had, made him feel worse than when he had COVID.

Just a side note...In my small part if the world, we're seeing RSV, flu and strep throats in numbers we don't usually see this time of the year.

Wonder if he and his crew had a nice bout of the flu?

It’s definitely going around. I have a bit of a cold, but the person I think I got it from has a nasty sore throat too so we will see.

I know others as well who are sick on some level.

Something to be said for keeping my mask on in public.

Well, besides the ugly person aspect, of course....
