      Gorsuch and Thomas (Thomas is even more forceful in his opinions) both think we really need to take a hard look at our slander and libel laws in the current Information Age.

        I know it doesn't apply to things said on the floor of the Senate or House, but Harry Reid's comment about Romney not paying taxes comes to mind. He knew it was false, and yet he said it.

        Years later, when asked about it, his response was, "He didn't win, did he?"
