      Sokolov was supposed to play an almost all-Mozart program in my town next week (it was moved to another date). Of course I didn't buy a ticket.

        I actually saw that. 24th. I just checked out his tour schedule.

          When we last talked about Sokolov, I commented how his live performance of the Prokofiev #7 was criticized by some here as being too slow.

          The first 5 minutes of this strike me as being slow as well. That is a good thing, imo. He's really letting you hear the textures in the music so well.

          Also, at 3:24, does he hit a clucker in the right hand?
