There is a reason law and order are a pair.

Time and time again, when you let the monkeys run the zoo and no lions are left to keep things in line, all businesses eventually become extinct.

This explains a lot. You need to use zoo-keepers rather than lions.

        I was only joking

Easily discoverable that Walgreens has been executing on a store closing plan nationwide for some time aka years. So while the residents are right to make an attribution there are other macro reasons that now make stores with lots of “shrinkage” undesirable.

IOW, if they were making money, they wouldn't close them.

Correct but the economics no longer make sense in light of declining profits on branded drugs.

                  In Dallas years ago...

There had been a tremendous upspike in convenience store armed robberies in a certain part of town. Local law enforcement finally decided to station cops in the walk-in cooler, with orders to shoot the robber as soon as he produced a weapon. They shot two or three the first night. They shot one robber the second night. By the third night, no convenience stores were robbed in the Dallas area.

Walgreens is lucky that guy didn't slip on that slick floor.

They should install a non-skid surface for bikes like that.
