Hey, Klaus! How are things in Germany?

Are things pretty shut down like here in suburban Chicago?
Are some businesses closed?
People staying distant from each other?
(Never mind that question, it's Germany)

I guess it's similar. Schools are closed. Various businesses are closed.
But not much really happens in the hospitals. The number of COVID-19 patients in the local hospitals actually goes down - not by much, but it's less than a week ago. Many doctors are angry because all kinds of medical procedures were delayed and now they are sitting on their ass with nothing to do and, more importantly, no income. From what I understand, we'd have the capacity for 10x the number of COVID-19 patients we have now. Things can change quickly, of course, but those horror stories one hears from other countries haven't really materialized here yet.

That's a pretty decent average speed. I meant to go out today, then I didn't.

When considering average speed, note that half of the trip was on gravel roads
