A lot of people that never had chickens before, now have them. Many of these folks only have two or three, usually in the backyard, housed in a cute $300 coop they bought at Tractor Supply. They look at then as pets, not livestock.
Meh.
Nasty? A chicken ain't nothing but a hog with feathers. Only an idiot would be kissing up on chickens.
