On Amazon. 110 minutes wasted. They used a few names from the book but that. is. all. It was a horribly contrived story horribly told.

I am remorseful. I could have watched Shark Tank reruns.

@mik as I said in another thread, "Amazon's 'Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan' is not 'Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.'"

I saw that pop up on my Prime feed, and based on my experience with the other, I gave WR a hard "nope."

Tom Clancy's books were certainly popcorn, but they were gourmet. This crap is microwave popcorn, but over done with a slightly burnt taste.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

They tried to get Ryan Reynolds for the role and it didn't work out. Maybe he read the script.

Originally, it was a two movie deal. Don't know if they will make the second one or not.

It's worth watching, only if you'd like to put your brain in park and enjoy lots of improbable gun fights.

It was supposed to be a blockbuster theatrical release.

          Education is extremely important.

Willem Dafoe was the perfect Clark in Clear and Present Danger.

The other thing I REALLY hated about it was the 'SAY HER NAME' thing. Really?

It would have been slaughtered by critics, deservedly so. Nothing made sense. You essentially start WWIII in Murmansk and just drive away from the scene. No real explanation of how they got out of Russia. The gun battles were overlong and boring. How Kelly gets to the head of the FSB in DC and kills him.
