Outdoor seating was very popular in this area before COVID. There is obviously a lot more now and I encourage it. They were very creative in heating in the winter, and I expect that to continue.

In theory I like the concept, and I have enjoyed the experiences of eating on the streets or or on the side of the streets, outdoors. Did lots of that in other countries, Asia, Europe, even Canada. Not so much in the USA. Not having auto vehicles driving by is crucial. Having good weather is crucial. Not every city/town is planned/designed in a way that allows this sort of dining atmosphere to happen.

I generally do not support outdoor dining in the winter because I have not seen any heating solution that is not "wasteful" to heat the outdoors just so people can eat outdoors. :man-shrugging: :
