I have been seeing a nearly Ph neutral product called Wet and Forget that you can just spray on and let it do its stuff. No rinsing, you can leave it on roofs.

Anyone used it or something else like it that you liked?

I am getting a bit of green gunk on the north side of my roof that is shaded, and on shaded spots on my cultured stone on the deck.

Jon would hit that, no doubt.

Been using it for years now. It works.

I spray the vinyl pool fence and pool furniture with it and it keeps them clean all summer long. Just sprayed the roof shingles with it about 2 weeks ago.

It's not something that works instantly. It works with the rain and wind to gradually remove algae and mold.

Costco sells it. 2 one gallon jugs for about 25 bucks. Mix with water according to directions.

If you need instant results on siding, spray it with a bleach/water solution, rinse and then spray the wet/forget to keep it clean.

              I highly recommend it.

I sprayed my roof several years ago with it. It took a while, but all the black streaks we get around here disappeared.

Good enough for me. I'm not in any hurry at all. Just don't really want to use a bleach solution.

                  Thanks!
