Boris is growing up.

I spend my "computer time" at my desk.

Right next to my desk, I have a bar stool, and that's where Boris likes to perch.

And how!

Every day, at about 3-4 pm, he hops on the kitchen counter knowing that it's brushing time. Of course, once we're done, he gets a treat.

I brush his head, sides, belly, butt and of course, his chest. More often than not, when I'm brushing him, he's purring away.

This is last August. He was about a year old then.

It came as a great relief to me that this thread wasn't about the British Prime Minister, as I would have been left wondering about George's sanity.

He looks like a lovely cat. I really miss having one, as much as I love the Jack Russell.

Maine coons are so like that. Ours is more dog than cat in that way.

Looks like his hair has gotten a lot lighter in the one year.
