I have know the owner since he opened the place in 1986. Great guy and I have purchased a few guitars from his store, Paradise Guitars.

They are having a retirement sale. The business was doing well but Mike just wants to retire so he sold the land and the building and is doing quite well for himself.

Needless to say my two daughters and I visited the store for what will most likely be the last time.

We brought home a record number of string instruments in one haul.

Left to right, Breedlove 12 string. Breedlove 6 string, Ibanez ES-335, Ibanez Banjo and two sweet looking and sounding Ukuleles.

The Breedlove guitars are USA built and are very well built and ring like bells. Awesome sounding. The ES-335 is something I have always wanted and the price was too good to pass up. My youngest has always wanted me to buy a banjo, today was the day thanks to a killer deal that Mike made me on it.

I now have an Eastman all solid wood 12 string for sale in case anyone is interested.

Oh yeah, I also have to learn to play the banjo. WHAT? lmfao.

@mark You have a wonderful relationship with your kiddos, Mark. I think that because your daughter wanted you to get a banjo! What instruments do they play, including these new ones?

I think you're really going to like the Breedloves. Don't know much about the Ibanez.

My nephew is a pretty fair guitar picker. He said it was very easy for him to pick up the banjo.

Enjoy the new additions to the string family...
