Reminds me of Australia's Christmas Island debacles. I mean really, what's the perfect solution when there's a sea of people trying to get in? No matter the policy, it's going to get a little nasty.

I agree. It really does not bother me a great deal. But you do not see the accusatory stories you did during the last administration, especially for a policy implemented by the Obama admin.

The "kids in cages" thing was gleefully used by TDS sufferers not only to paint Trump as Hitler, but to paint his supporters as heartless monsters, deserving of the social death penalty.

I lived in Tucson for 10 years. May is the month where it starts to get hot, 100 degree temps start. You go from air conditioned car to air conditioned anywhere. You don't force little kids to walk miles in that kind of oppressive heat, especially this time of year. And then, the desert comes alive at sundown and sunrise. It is hardcore desert.
