        You can make bacon out of hog jowl or you can make salt meat. I've heard Buckboard cure is pretty good.

          Jowl bacon is awesome. I bought both that and guanciale the other day. Wanted to try the jowl tonight. Was great.

          MFR got pretty well schnockered. She was funny but feisty and sleeping now. ❤️
