Did you get the "GT Premium Package" which has the heads-up display?

I have one in my car and love it.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Just curious which Honda you compared it to.
      The CR-V?
What would the comparably equipped Honda cost according to your research?

Actually, you might have spreadsheet comparing all the options you seriously considered. Mind sharing that spreadsheet? πŸ˜‰

Awesome! That vehicle was on out shortlist, but not in that price range.

The Subaru Crosstrek won the day for us. Super cheap. lol

Looks like a grey market import to me that wasn't seasoned for destination.

So I came back from an errand today and came inside. A couple minutes later I get a notification on my Apple Watch.

It’s the Mazda app telling me I left the door unlocked. So I opened the app on my phone, and locked it.

              Pretty cool.

              Only non-witches get due process.

Does that car have an old school lock that you can open with a physical key? It would suck if a hacker or system multifunction locks you out of your car and you cannot override with a physical key. Also hope all that remote control stuff is completely physically isolated from the drive/steering system. Last think you want is for anything to remotely temper with your acceleration, breaking, steering, or gear shifting controls while you drive. If it were me I would also put the driver seat adjustment, head lights, signal lights, and wiper controls out of the mobile app's reach.

All you can control is start/stop engine, lock/unlock doors, and turn on/off hazards.

And lots of 'read only' stuff - fuel levels, oil life, stuff like that.

Check out what you have to do to use the old-school key in my car

You have to pry off the handle cover, I never came close to figuring that out, I had to go to the owner's manual.
