I haven't been into a physical bank in about 2 years.

I appreciate I'm a little unusual, but I'm not that unusual. It's a little surprising there are as many left as there are.

    I was only joking

I can’t remember the last time I was in a bank, seriously.

Same here, except to walk into the outer lobby of the bank across the street to use the ATM.

Which I'm also doing a lot less than I used to. I don't remember the last time I used cash.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

COVID fallout. Whole lot of folks have realized they don't need all these physical locations.

In the middle of last year, analysts were predicting that 20,000 or more branches would close due to COVID-19. E.g., https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/analyst-20-000-bank-branches-or-more-could-close-after-covid-19/ar-BB16qCgT

Well, one exec at Chase said they're telling people to report back on the 15th...

I was in a Chase branch Monday. I occasionally get out more cash than the machines allow.

                  Only non-witches get due process.

Yeah, we like to always have a decent stash of cash around.

My local chase branch, just a few blocks away, recently moved from one side of the street to the other. The new location is very nice, but still no safe deposit boxes. I have to go 20 miles away for the first Chase with boxes.
