Does the governor have that authority?
If so, perhaps you should lobby the citizens of Florida to change the laws so that local control is not subject to the whims of the inhabitant of the statehouse. Go for it!

Florida has had a lot of problems with local edicts that other places did not. For instance some Gulf coast beaches opened while the souther Atlantic coast did not, creating a flood of folks in places that could not handle the influx. To frame this as liberal conservative conflict is simply wrong.

I am confused about what local orders would be in place on July 1? Isn’t he saying time to get in line with what is going on all over the country?
