I just found out that Duck Duck Go makes a web browser!

Have you tried it? I use Duck Duck go for my searching, and usually safari for web looking.

Yes. Seems stable and I've had no issues with a very limited try (on iOS, by the way).

ETA: I don't think they have a desktop browser, but they do offer a Safari extension which supposedly assures privacy.

          I will check it out.

I just installed the Chrome extension on the PC and the browser on my Galaxy Tab5.

I downloaded DuckDuckGo (DDG) browser onto an iPad and now I am doing an experiment:

            • Open up a tab in DDG browser and keep Facebook open there, logged in to a Facebook account
            • Open up another tab that uses DDG’s search service to search for “acoustic guitar” related stuff
            • Open up yet another tab that uses Google’s search service to search for “electric razor” related stuff

Let’s see how long it takes for “acoustic guitar” ads or “electric razor” ads to show up for that Facebook account. 😈

There's Ax, doing the heavy lifting that none of us are willing to do.

Your other thread made me re-find this one.

How did your experiment turn out?
