We just had our first visitor of 2021.

Yay! Glad you are seeing some now. We are still waiting. It's been quite cold here the last week or more. Maybe later this week we'll have some show up here. The temps will be in the 70s by Wednesday or Thursday.

I get lots in my backyard. I'm not sure if I've seen some this year (we get lots of different types of birds).

          I'll pay more attention now.

Yeah, Xenon, you will see a lot, like in Northern California, tear round. A friend who lives just a bit south of you told me this morning they have four species, three that are year round and one that migrates.

Your area gets multiple kinds of hummingbirds. We get just one kind, the ruby-throated hummingbirds.

                From my town's FB group:

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

That's so sad to see. Yes, only plain sugar should be used. Someone probably thought honey was a natural product, thus better. Poor bird.
