I've been using Adblock for a while, but it seems like things are getting through (popups, etc) and it's a PITA.

I have a Safari extension on my MacBook that automatically mutes all YouTube ads and skips them immediately when able. Game-changer.

I think it's just called "YouTube Ads Auto-Skipper."
And yeah, I got nothin' for iOS, but the YouTube thing has been really helpful. So much so that I pretty much don't watch YouTube on mobile devices anymore.
