Though I don't disagree with the judge's comments, I find it interesting that he would throw the defense such a bone - "Hey, here's something you can use for your appeal should your case go south. Good luck!"

The Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee is demanding violence from the mob because the judicial branch of government can't deliver justice.
The judge doesn't like that.

Scuttlebutt is that a serious number of Democrats are beyond pissed with what Waters said.
Minority Leader McCarthy is looking at getting her censured, and with a 2 vote swing from the Democrats, he might just get it.

It's hard to take their protestations about Trump's awful behaviour seriously when they pull this kind of stuff, and I happen to think that what Trump did should also preclude him from running for President again.
These people are undermining both the justice system and the democratic process.
