I don't look at positive tests. With the amount of testing now being done, that number doesn't mean as much as it used to. I look at hospitalizations. That number was up 21%, overall. That's pretty significant.
The question is why?

Yes, but there are a lot of people (D2) who don't need hospitalization who are still sick as hell.

That happens, but it doesn't suck resources as much or overwhelm the medical system.
