Meanwhile, at Stanford...

The real crux of the matter with the JK Rowling issue is nerd culture. Trans people (and I find it funny that as soon as I typed tran, my phone immediately wanted to toss up the ⚧ emblem. I can see lots of funny autocorrect problems on car forums when talking about transmissions...) are overly represented in nerd and geek culture as the cosplay phenomenon appeals to the mindset of taking on different roles and living different lives. But that’s another discussion.
At any rate, due to that over representation, they feel particularly betrayed when a popular creator isn’t in lockstep...

I'm more shocked by the fact that there's a Harry Potter themed dorm at Stanford, TBH.

"..the mass hallucination of racism"
That pretty well sums it up.

You’d be surprised what is said at Fraternity Houses and some of their rituals. Seems like a house thing and not a university thing.

It sounds more like one nutty wokester, TBH.
The real problem isn't that there's a nutcase, but that nobody will stand up to them.

Well it’s not like those who choose a Harry Potter theme dorm are alpha personas. Lol
