As you age best to practice keeping your mouth shut.
And yes what she said is very very wrong and the bubble she lived in got her by not training her properly. This would have never happened in corporate America.

It is a problem. People have to accept some (maybe not all, but some) of the responsibilities for where they are in life.
Continuing to try and blame others does not solve the problem.
