ran's nuclear chief says Natanz centrifuge facility hit by 'terrorism'
Western intelligence sources claim that Iran's main uranium enrichment plant was attacked by cyber attack, likely launched by Israel's Mossad.A so-called "accident" at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility on Sunday was the result of a "terrorist" act, the country's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi said, according to state TV.
He said the international community and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) needed to deal with what he called nuclear terrorism. He added that Iran reserves the right to take action against the perpetrators, TV reported.
Earlier in the day, The Jerusalem Post revealed that the incident at Natanz was not an “accident” and that the damage was much graver than what Iran was initially presenting to the public. Western sources claimed that the facility was hit by a cyber attack.
An "accident" occurred on Sunday morning in the electricity distribution network at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility, the country's main uranium enrichment facility, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi told the Iranian Fars News Agency.
Based on reports, it seems that the so-called accident was caused by a cyberattack, possibly by Israel. Natanz has in the past been targeted by Israeli cyber operations, according to foreign reports. In 2010, the Stuxnet virus attacked the facility in a joint operation with the United States, destroying over 1,000 centrifuges. -
Wasn’t me. I was busy today

interesting. I have been at places in Korea, where they try and run an intranet rather than an internet.
When entering the facility with a computer or other electronic, they tape over all external ports, no wireless access for computers etc., only hard wired.
But, as the above story shows, nothing is completely secure.

Secure locations are never connected to a public infrastructure.
This would require physically infiltrating and attaching a hard point connection and waiting for the appropriate political moment to implement.Just the day before Tehran announced the use of upgrades centrifuges as a bargaining chip in the possible upcoming talks on renewing the agreement with the west.
Ooops no more bargaining chip. Shit happens.
