I didn't look.
What the odds that two people naturally died on Capitol grounds on Jan.6 during the protest?
I'm not a statistician. All I know is what the coroner said: "Natural causes." Do you have insights to dispute his findings? If so, please share.

100%

My insight is this: To the extent that neither actual causes nor any further detail is provided, it remains plausible that the “natural cause” classifications are merely a consequence of the coroner’s inability to pin point a tangible external cause of death. When I see “death by natural causes” in a protest, it’s like seeing “death by natural causes” of someone in captivity or in a controlled environment — without more details (e.g., age, preexisting conditions, aggravating factors or lack thereof), one ought to retain same modicum of suspicion.

@george-k It is kind of like when there is an extreme heat.
The news says that XX people were killed by the extreme heat.
Well, technically, they probably died of something else, but the extreme heat was the "killer" for them.
Obviously, we cannot say if those 3 people would not have died on January 6 if they were not in Washington DC, but it is probably that they would not have. So, I dont think it is completely wrong to say that they died or were killed by the riot.
-
Maybe some died of broken hearts by seeing the country they love being stolen away?

Why?
If someone is in the military and at the battlefield with the enemy, and they have a heart attack and die, did they die in combat?

Well, your insight is wrong.
Died of natural causes means there was no external force or factor which caused the death. For example, if a protester with stenosis of the coronary arteries became so agitated they had a MI and died, it would be due to heart disease, which would be a natural cause.
OTOH, the protester shot in the Capitol would be a homicide.

Because they weren't.
So, it the military wrong in how they classify deaths on the battlefield?
(for example, if some has a heart attack while fighting in battle, it is a "combat death". )
Should that be classify as "non combat?"

Don't trespass on Capitol property and try to commit B&E, don't get shot.

It's still a homicide.
Put the shoe on the other foot...Would your comment be the same if BLM had committed B&E at the Capitol in 2015 and a black woman had been shot and killed?
