    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/climate-change-carbon-dioxide-highest-level-million-years/

“Carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane levels in the atmosphere continued to rise in 2020, with CO2 level reaching their highest point in 3.6 million years, according to calculations by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The barrier was broken despite a reduction in expected emissions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

US CO2 emissions declined by 11% in 2020 vs 2019.

Emission changes by country are not included in the article and one can only speculate why.

I suspect the argument is that it would be unfair to point that out because the US has had 100 years to build a strong economy based on industrialization and those increasing CO2 admissions have a right to industrialize like we did.

Why in the world would you post something from Pravda CBS and expect anyone to take it seriously?

I have read that during the Trump administration, we outpaced the Paris Accord requirements and the other nations that remained in the accord.
