I've got a big pecan similar to this situation, but it's not rotten. I'll throw a cable on it and winch it or pull it with a tractor. When one hangs up, it can be a real challenge.

Another thing...My dad had a couple of McCullochs like that, but with a shorter bar. Brings back memories...
