    So beautiful, and so much work, it seems a shame to just eat it.

    Do you have a pasta kneader on that Hobart?

      The dough hook would work for mixing it, but pressing into ribbons would require another tool.

        I made pasta once. Just once. A long time ago. It was fun using the pasta press and cutting the dough. But the drying period was too long and it took up so much space. Maybe if I had a pasta-making party, I would do it again, but that's not happening anytime soon. Like Mik, I'm okay buying at the store.

                Pretty good. Basic Recipe is easy as you know - flour, egg, etc.

                I would like to try different ones made from different things (spinach, etc.) and also learn japanese noodles (soba, etc)

                But like Mik said, it is fun to make, but time and effort is probably more than going to the store to buy. LOL

                  @taiwan_girl Great job, TG!

                  It looks like you might have the same mixer as mine. How did the pasta attachment work for you? Easy, difficult, not too bad? Was it faster than the hand crank machines?

                    @brenda I have never tried a hand crank machine so not sure if it easier.

                    I looked at the Kitchen Aid pasta machine, but you had to have one attachment for rolling and one for the cutting.

                    The one I got combines it into one unit, and was cheaper than the Kitchenaid one. 🙂

                    So far , it is working quite very well.

                      @taiwan_girl It's compatible with your Kitchen-Aid mixer? Where did you buy it from?

                        I've seen them on Amazon.
