Sorry to hear it. Good news is the marginal improvement, the bad news is obvious.
George, what is SOB? Certainly not my usual understanding of that acronym in your context.
I would think that she is losing weight, since she must force herself to eat. That would be so awful. Not the weight loss, I'm always looking to lose weight. But to have food smell and taste awful, that's crewel.
Thanks, Covid!! You SOB.

George, there are more and more articles finally coming out about long COVID. Even Mayo is starting to address this, and they are often late adopters of things like this, which I find frustrating. It's encouraging to see it gain attention, and perhaps more scrutiny for treatment options.

There is some news coming out that the vaccine may help alleviate long symptoms. I wonder if it’s like some other viruses that hide.

Luke’s sense of taste is finally back to 100% as of tonight, but his sense of smell is still off. This is 4 months after an extremely mild case.

Just as an aside, I thought the term "elephant's asshole" was funny and descriptive.
I assume she inherited her mother's sense of humor?

Saw that and I mentioned it to D2 this afternoon.
She's still suffering from parosmia and occasional SOB. I only heard her cough once today.
She was vaccinated about 6 weeks ago and still suffering.
