A Star is Born (2018)

I don't think I ever watched the earlier one (itself a remake) with big-noseStreisand and that smelly bloke, or the earlier one with Judy Garland and James Mason, or the 1937 original with people I've never heard of. I might watch the one with Judy Garland now, as I suspect it will probably be good.
Anyways, I just watched the 2018 version with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper since Mrs. Phibes was watching. Not a bad movie - the music's a lot better than anything I would expect from Babs. I kind of wanted to open a vein by the time it finished, but that's fairly common for me.
Sam Elliot was also good, although it really missed the presence of Gary Busey, who was apparently in the Streisand one.
Lady Gaga's got quite the voice.

Gaga is quite talented. The pop crap she does is for the money.
