The commemoration of International Women's Day was everything I expected, and more.
The 'manager, special projects' was happening to some other lucky so-and-so. It actually wasn't what I thought it might be, but a "bright idea" somebody had. I had quite an amusing off-line discussion with the other British manager who works here over Skype, which is probably best not repeated

I have to survive 4.5 more years and I get my pension. If I manage 7.5 years I hit the rule of 85.
Not that I'm counting.
