Women are appalled. Well, this n of one woman is.
Really, women don't belong in the battlefield, for many reasons. Though I have no problem with support stuff, like communications, strategic planning, etc. Maybe even helo pilots. I don't know. Maybe Copper can weigh in on that.

Im more liberal than you are...I have no problem with women in certain combat situations. Pilots, etc., where physical strength is not needed or unit cohesion is not affected. But those women should be volunteers and they should know what can happen to them...Remember the female pilot in the Gulf War. Battered as she was from ejecting from her plane, the Iraqis stripped her, bent her over a table and wore out every orifice she had.

I should have been clearer. By "on the battlefield" I meant in where the shooting is, like pew-pew-pew, with the support stuff being closer to behind the lines.

Some of the same people that don't want women in the armed forces because they wouldn't be as good are the ones who think there should be national service for all males.
