Ventured into Walgreens today
-
My first real entry into a store since March 6th. (I popped my head in a gas station a couple weeks back in order to get the guy to open the propane locker).
I had tried to use their 'mail to home' option when I renewed. I submitted an order April 5th, they said I'd have it in 5-10 business days.
Monday I called - that's the 27th, so more than three weeks later. The order was still in the queue. She couldn't tell me when it would be serviced, just that they were currently up to March 25th in their backlog....
So I canceled that order and put one in for the local store.
Masks were mandatory, said the sign. I had an N95 (construction type) and disposable gloves. It wasn't crowded. Huge long shelf where paper products go was completely empty.
She was able to pull my credit card from the file so I didn't have to use the reader or even my ApplePay, which is nice since my phone's facial recognition system doesn't like me in a mask.

How did it feel? A little odd?
