@axtremus I enjoyed that. It reminded me of the Prok #7 in some spots.

      That was fun.

This is one of my favorites. I remember being in St. Pancreas station and looking for that piano. LOL

I like one of the comments:

I went to see Jools Holland a couple of years back - He used to play in the rock band Squeeze, and fronts TV music shows over the pond. He can play a bit, too

        I was only joking

See, here's what really pisses me off about these people.

Years ago, a former member of this forum who used to sell pianos, but went on to become a "farmer" posted some audio of him, somewhat drunk, playing "Satin Doll" at some bar.

It sounded to me, despite the crappy audio quality, like he was just "talking." Several of the videos in this thread give me the same feelings. These people are not like the rest of us who struggle with just "reading the notes." It's like a totally different language that falls off their lips fingers. So natural, so easy, so normal.

I'm not one of those people, and at my age, I'll never become one.

          Pisses me off.

The best pianist I know, can't read music. But if he can hear it, he can play it. Any style, any genre.

            It's God-given talent...

What I like about Boogie is that it can sound great on a crappy out-of-tune piano.

With Larry gone, I'm finally the best piano player on this forum. That is not a crown I bear lightly.

The thumb is garbage, about 20 degree bend at most. But better than what it was when the flexor tendon was ruptured. I'm still getting used to it. Picking up a chopstick from the table for instance is not easy. But in general I don't notice it too much. I trained myself to use my left thumb for the space bar while typing and now that I could go back, I don't. Haven't tried building models yet, I'll get to that at some point.
