President Joe Biden called a lid at 1:13 pm eastern on Monday afternoon as the crisis at the border reaches catastrophic levels.

"A photo/ travel lid was called at 1.13pm," the White House pool report states.

In other words, Biden won't be seen for the rest of the day.

I think I mentioned it when President Trump was president, but it is somewhat goofy to say that just because there is nothing officially scheduled does not mean he was not working.

We dont know what type of internal meetings/briefings are going on, what reports he has been handed needs to read/look over, etc.

Same when the President is on "vacation". I dont think that anyone truly believes that they are on "vacation".

Yet, I believe it was you who commented on the sudden cessation of President Trump's "public" events shortly after the election, including a link to POTUS's calendar.

I believe that when I first posted about the schedule or President Trump, it was in reponse to people posting about the schedule of candidate Biden and then President elect Biden.

At the time, President Trump (and others, even on this forum board), was claiming that he was president and would be for the next four years.

In a way, i was defending him, pointing out that even if he did not have many schedules, he was "working late making many phone calls and talking to many people"!! 555

1. President Trump claimed he had won the election and would be president for four more years. So, in his mind, he was not an "outgoing" president.

2. A US president is not elected to be president for 3.7 (or so) years, they are elected to be president for 4 years.

I would never equate the two schedules. One is a lame duck, on his way out. The other is trying to establish a new Presidency, and should be busier than a one-legged man at an ass-kicking contest.
