      As one of the linked articles says, 70% of the earth's surface is ocean. Then, when you consider how deep it is, and how the possibility for diversity unusual life is, it's staggering to consider how much we don't know. We only see what lives on the surface of our 30%.

        Yeup, i remember reading somewhere that we know more about the surface of the moon than the surface of the ocean bottom.
