Someone should tell him about Fox, Breitbart, Newsmax, RT, WSJ, Washington Times, etc etc etc.
It's not so much the media to me, for adults who can pick what they want to listen to, but all of pop culture, along with the educational institutions, which program the kids. That's all owned by the left.

Illiberalism left and right. We live in bad times.
Which side's messaging is showing up more in the minds of the next generation?
Although this is maybe a generalization, youth tends more to liberalism, age tends towards conservatism. The next generation is not being mind controlled. Young gravitate toward liberalism because conservatism is equated with status quo, the old ways.
So I do t think it’s surprising the young feel more in tune with liberal messaging.
But then again I’m an old fart and will live my whole life a liberal. I guess I’m just stuck in a young mindset.

Yes that's the old saw, and in general I'm sure it's true. My issue is with the current incarnation of the left and the more and more explicit indoctrination and social coercion into more and more culturally poisonous and just plain retarded ideas. The mainstream left ideas are way more insane than mainstream right ideas IMO. To get to the insanity of the right you have to go to nearly universally disavowed stuff like QAnon, or Capitol invasions. To get to insanity on the left you have to read WaPo or, increasingly, the NYT, or tune into CNN. Or get a formal education.
Anybody who posits that the messaging of the left and the right in our current culture are equal and opposite forces for lunacy is, IMO, in denial, and very likely a lifetime lefty who just doesn't want to admit to what's become of their side.

For sure higher Ed is an issue.
Jon, for 12 years I attended the National School Board Assoc. conference. It was a wonderful opportunity to speak with board members from around the country.
Point is, you can add public K-12 education to higher ed.
Matter of fact, it's an ideological loop.
Attend your local School Board meetings folks, and ask the board members where they stand on issues and you'll be able to judge what's going on. (General encouragement, not specifically talking to Jon).

I figured so. It's not realistic to think leftward indoctrination begins only at the college level. The most important ideological poison is spread at a much younger age.

You can also learn a lot by hanging around the playground -- if you can do it without getting arrested, ha-ha. Watch how the equipment and the sanctioned games and the customs have changed from your own childhood.
I deplore the business of giving every kid in a game a prize at the end so "nobody feels bad". This is IMO extremely destructive. When I was a kid you played in a game and you either won or you lost; you placed or you got nuthin. If it was your thing, you went home and worked on your practice, and the next time you did better. Nobody had to tell you to do this; you did it because you were hungry.
Apparently you don't have to do that anymore. Amazing that people educated in childhood education don't get how damaging this is.

@catseye3 Spot On!
I was fortunate to visit any classroom at any time. The classroom is also completely different from when I was young. And I say that in a depressing, negative way in what I saw going on. There are still many outstanding teachers that do not form their views with the majority expected mindset, but they are eased out or frankly, are from generations now approaching retirement. -
The problem with the liberals in the 2nd decade of the 20th century is how illiberal they are.
"Free speech?"
Fine as long as it doesn't hurt someone's feelings.
"Free press?"
Fine, as long as it doesn't disagree with what I think, and for goodness' sake, don't you DARE publish something against my candidate.
"Freedom of speech?"
Fine, as long as what you say doesn't upset the people I support.

"Free Donald Trump"
Fine, as long as, no wait, ARGGGGGGGGHH!!!
