Today, Schumer, Nadler, AOC and others have called for his resignation. His response was something along the lines of "It's not appropriate for politicians to comment on this without a proper investigation."

"Can you help me with my iPhone?"

Charlotte Bennett, 25, a former staffer, was allegedly summoned to his private office inside the state Capitol building where Cuomo, who had had his iPhone for several months prior, asked his accuser for help navigating from his phone’s “settings” app to its “notes” app, Jessica Westerman, Bennett’s attorney, told The Times Union.

Bennett previously said the governor asked her about her love life — including whether she ever had sex with older men — and talked about his own, saying that age differences didn’t matter in relationships and he was open to dating women over 22.

During a meeting alone in his office, the governor said he was lonely and talked about wanting to hug someone, Bennett said. She said she swiftly complained to Cuomo’s chief of staff and was transferred to another job. She said she spoke to a lawyer for the governor, but didn’t insist on further action because she liked her new post and wanted to move on.

Cuomo allegedly used the same tactic of iPhone technical issues about five months later after the alleged Bennett incident with another female accuser at his private quarters in the Executive Mansion, the Times Union has reported.

The staffer alleged that he closed a door, reached under her blouse and fondled her after summoning her to the governor’s mansion in Albany for help with his cellphone, according to the Times Union of Albany. The newspaper didn’t name the woman, who said that she told Cuomo to stop groping her and that he had touched and flirted with her previously.

The Times Union’s reporting is based on an unidentified source with direct knowledge of the woman’s accusation.

Biden: Cuomo should resign if allegations confirmed

President Joe Biden said in an exclusive interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation confirms claims he committed sexual harassment.

"I know you said you want the investigation to continue," Stephanopoulos told Biden, referring to a probe by New York's attorney general into allegations Cuomo had harassed several women. "If the investigation confirms the claims of the women, should he resign?"

"Yes," the president replied. "I think he'll probably end up being prosecuted, too."

The obvious question is, what kind of investigation? Who's doing the investigating? What proof other than "She They said?" How about the Cuomo standard: A lie detector?

Also, was there contemporaneous reporting of the alleged incident(s)? Did anyone go to a supervisor to complain?

Fortunately, the Governor has shown a propensity of hiring very honest staff that does not try to distort or hide incidents that could be damaging to Cuomo.

I have paid zero attention to this story. Rightly or wrongly, sexual harassment stories bore me to death -- not least because they are so tediously SSDD. So what I say here may or may not be on the mark.

I'll tell you flat that a woman can shut down a man faster than hell if she isn't interested -- with no ambiguity. If she doesn't shut him down, it's because some part of her wants to play. Some part of her is intrigued or wish-fulfilled or avaricious or crazy or whatever. The man takes her up on her signals, and if she becomes displeased at some point, she's all wah, wah, wah and the guy ends up holding the bag.

                        That's the bones of it.

That's not to say a man can't be a pig or that there aren't exceptions to the above. But generally, only the dumbest douches on earth will try to power through a woman's cold disinterest, if it is sincere. If she isn't playing games.

In my years of working out in the world, I never had this problem. And I'm not the last word in gorgeousness, but I'm no dog, either. Early on especially, I was your average cute young thing. But the way I dressed and the way I behaved, it just was never a problem. Once in a while a man would make an overture, but I shut it down fast, and that was that.

Talking now about the sleazoids -- not about friendly, respectful sorta flirty.

That's why I have no use for women who run shrieking about sexual harassment. They're largely a bunch of hypocrites, and stupidly behaving ones at that.

I don't get it. Cats post made complete sense to me, the reality of working for a cute young girl. Where could there be any objection to what she posted?

I don't agree with the inference that woman are to blame for sexual harrassment, and that the women who complain are bad people and/or prickteasers.

                                    I was only joking

No, no, I don't think women are to blame for sexual harassment -- though some women do present to larger or lesser degrees in ways that encourage it. My point was that they shouldn't get to respond favorably to sexual overtures and then when things don't go their way, they complain that they were "harassed". If a liaison doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Be grown up about it, and honest.

And I agreed that he would have to say that...

All kidding aside, there is a very distinct difference between asking a coworker out and making a pass at them.

As much as we poopoo office romances these days, it is still one of the primary ways that romantic partners meet, for good or ill. It's a fact of life. People are going to be attracted to people they work with. It's how they handle it that isn't okay.

Most of the stuff coming up about Andrew seemed kind of weak sauce to me. He definitely sounded like an ass and worthy of a slap across the face, but he didn't seem to cross the line. The most recent allegation about groping? That crossed a line.

The part where you said you weren't the last word in gorgeousness. You're totally hot.
