        Yes, because of course you should be able to do that

        No, because it gives you the idea that something like this new law should be necessary

          @copper I know this is probably apple/orange comparison, but I will ask just to make the conversation

          If I understand correctly

          Carry a gun - no permit, no ID, etc needed to do so

          Should not the same right go with voting?

          Why or why not?

            You can only vote once

            You can carry the gun as many times as you want

              Don't have any problem with it. The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed, and all that. The only reason that a law-abiding citizen should not carry a gun, is if A) he doesn't want to, or B) He is precluded by law from doing so (convicted felon, mental patient, etc.)

              The only place I see compromise, if our representatives agree that in order to buy a gun, you must show proof of a safety and legal ramifications class. I don't have a problem with that.
