I find what Harry and Meghan are doing very distasteful, however I also believe that the British tabloid press did go after Meghan in an absolutely disgusting way, probably because she's an American, but also in all likelihood because she's half black. It also isn't really surprising that Harry has no time for the tabloid assholes, considering what happened to his mother.
They way the British press treat people is truly dreadful. The solution is not to do this, of course. They're making themselves look ridiculous.
I'd also just like to point out that Piers Morgan is a cunt, in case anybody was wondering how I felt about him.

Sure I am. It annoyed me off, and thatâs what she was going for. Oh, there might have been a few particular targets she was shooting for, but Iâm sure they got it.

This is all about money. Lawyers understand full well what arguments to hint to the public and also hint at whatâs in store for the monarchs if they donât comply.

I know nothing of his past, other than he's virulently anti-gun and occasionally says something funny.
He was editor of the News of the World, quite possibly the sleaziest tabloid in Britain, which is really going some. A newspaper that was eventually closed down after the phone hacking scandal. One of the people whose phone was hacked was a murdered schoolgirl.
He wasn't editor at that point, but it gives you an idea.

Now, he hosts a breakfast TV show in the UK. He's basically a professional cunt - as in, he says lots of controversial things which get him airtime and publicity.
Oh, and Jeremy Clarkson punched him in the face at a party.

You folk crack me up, always amusing.
While Phibes & I do a celebratory Piers-jig, we may all consider what the Queen will do about the different recollections of racist comments and what action she will take about what was said (probably zero & zero)
And what will HM ensure is done regarding Andrew's under-age sex allegations and enabling the law getting to the truth (probably zero & zero)HM will attempt to keep all the dirty washing drying privately in-house.
I must agree with Mik, context is everything.
Yesterday's show/Piers has had over 40k complaints (and counting) to Offcom, no doubt accusing Piers for being cruel to the mental health of Meghan.
However I recall that despite Piers scoffing at the veracity of Megan's words and implying her leaning on her actress abilities, he did say he could not comment on her suicidal thoughts and then mental state. He said that some things she said were actually not true, and further he didn't believe much of what else she said. His opinions.If you believe the interview, then the wholesome Royalty we see is a public facade, when in reality it's almost completely disfunctional.
Nuff said.

One of them has been deified by the press, the other has been demonized. I would also humbly suggest that the press do more manipulation than the pair of them put together.

Agreed. And as for the outfit comparisons - come on - these women are photographed wearing a million outfits, they have a zillions of dollars worth of clothing and of course you are going to find a few that are similar in color or style that you can put together and say âooooh, creepy!â What a load of horse manure this all is. I wasnât to know specifically about the black outfit - is that a poppy, for remembrance day maybe? Of course they are wearing similar outfits. Iâm willing to be you could do with with Kate Middleton, the queen, whoever. Find 8 photos with similar outfits. Itâs ridiculous.
