Thanks for the review. I enjoyed the first, just because the "fish out of water" theme is always fun.

Reviews are terrible. Now ordinarily that would not be a big deal. But it's a black movie in 2021. It must be godawful.

Was it racist?

Did it demean non-American cultures?

Did it use inappropriate cultural appropriation?

Were allegedly "funny" accents used to caricaturize the lead characters?

If the answer to any of those is "yes," I'm not sure I can watch it without being triggered and/or outraged.

I've never been a fan of Eddie Murphy. He can't play anything straight, and you can see how funny he thinks he is the whole time.
