I can't agree. This kid probably spent hundreds of hours of training before he did what you see there. It takes X-treme strength and conditioning, reflexes from hell, dedication, discipline, great patience and a rare mindset.
I say that as one who possesses none of these qualities.

We had a similar discussion a couple of years ago, over a guy who climbed the outside of buildings. Yes, it was crazy to risk his life, but my argument was that it was his life to risk. The required mindset to attempt such a thing is not shared by many, and is probably not well understood.
We all decide how we want to spend our lives -- even avoiding the decision results in time passing somehow. I respect these guys' courage. There's something about maximizing the experience of living -- I can't explain it.

Proper rock climbers do a lot of training, as do racing drivers, but they also make sure that they make a dangerous sport as safe as possible.
I always get the feeling that these people are taking unnecessary risks.
There's old soldiers, and there's bold soldiers, but there's no old, bold soldiers.

There is something about "maximizing the experience of living" as you say. Like. . . riding a bike, without a helmet.
Well, kinda-sorta an example.
How about riding a bike, without a helmet, and with bad brakes, or no front brakes. There you go, that's better. -
