    @jolly Whoa! That's pretty scary. Did you take her in to be watched for a while?

        I was thinking about this.

        After 8 hours I have some soreness in the arm, that's it.

        I hope she is OK.

          Hope she tolerates round 2 well. A friend of mine was in bed for a day with flu-like symptoms after the second Moderna.

              Don't think there will be a Round 2.

              I'm just hoping she didn't gave any permanent damage. EKG and possible echo in the morning.

                  I reread and see she went in for help. That's really frightening for both of you. Hoping she has no damage.

                    @jolly wait...SpO2 is 91%?

                    No SOB or anything else, I trust?

                    Nope, go figure. She is pretty stopped up this morning, since she took a Benadryl yesterday and that really, really dries her out (she has secondary Sjogren's). After she got up and moved around a bit, Sat came up to 94.

                    I had to do a special medical screen upon sign-in today, since I’m immunocompromised. They specifically asked if I had any auto immune diseases. Not sure if that would have have contraindicated a vaccine or just led to a specific warning message,

                      I was worried for 94-year-old relative that got the Moderna shot.

                      Not a problem. Shot #2 was a bit sore but didn't wake her up sleeping on that side.

                      Very sorry to hear about your wife's reaction, Jolly.

                        Hope the worst is over for her Jolly.

                        I don't know if this was already discussed....but I heard they (medical people) are looking at Covid as more like an autoimmune disease.

                            Normal sinus rhythm. Still running some low grade temps. She's still snoozing this morning, although she wants to play for church, dragging her wound vac with her.

                            Her cardiologist said he thought she could take the second shot, if she had rescue meds on hand. I'd like to remind him the reason he became her cardiologist, was because of severe chest pain due to a reaction to Imitrex...The wife has some oddball reaction to medications...Toradol taken at home post rotator cuff surgery landed her in the ED with a severe reaction.

                            She's had COVID. She's had one shot. She and her sister both reacted violently to the first vaccination. I don't think either will take the second.
